Operation Snowball, Inc. is a youth prevention and leadership development organization that empowers youth to lead healthy lives and build positive communities.
What is Operation Snowball?
Operation Snowball is a youth-led, adult-guided 501c3 organization that fosters leadership, resilience, and healthy decision-making through peer-led programs and events. With accredited Teams across the state of Illinois and beyond, Snowball creates a ripple effect of “if I can have a positive impact on you, you can have a positive impact on someone else”.
What does Operation Snowball do?

OS is a youth-led, adult supported organization. We know the impact and influence youth have and work to make sure there is a seat at every table for them!

OS has accredited Teams all throughout the wonderful state of Illinois, as well as Teams in Missouri, Wisconsin, Arizona, Texas, and Ireland!

OS works to empower our youth to make healthy decisions, and use their influence to create an atmosphere of positive peer support. We know that our youth are part of every solution, so we work to involve them in every aspect of our organization!

OS encourages Social-emotional learning through adequate prevention education, training, and resources.

OS utilizes the Strategic Planning Framework (SPF) in every training, resource, toolkit, and implementation we provide our Teams and individuals. We use it to implement our programming in the various community structures where we have accredited OS Teams!
